Triathlon Entry cost: thru 8/31 ($39), thru 9/30 ($49), thru 10/31 ($59), thru 11/10 ($69), thru 11/18 ($79) and late sign-up at mandatory check-in if spots are available: ($89). **17U Youth and Kids subtract $14

 

Note: There are NO race day sign-ups available for the Triathlon!

Refund policy: We do not allow a refund but you may transfer your entry to another person until Nov. 1st 2015. There is a $15 refund fee withheld for processing the transfer.

Awards: Top Triathlon overall Male and Female receive a pure 4oz Silver medal. Overall 2nd/3rd place will receive a beautiful commemorative pure Silver sport coin. NOTE: Overall award winners must be present to receive their awards! Our 1st place masters (40+), senior masters (50+) and senior masters (60+) division (M/F) receive a pure 1oz. Silver commemorative sports coin. Awards go 3 deep in each group or age-group. Awards ceremony will take place at the CCHS track stadium and will begin about 15 minutes after the last triathlete finishes (approximately at 10:45am). NOTE: Awards not picked up you may send a prepaid postage (enough for 6oz) bubble-envelope to: 13328 Caminito Ciera #16, San Diego, Ca. 92129

Age-groups:
Our Del Mar Triathlon event will have 5 year age-groups male and female as follows:
14U,15-19, 20-24, 25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70-74,75-79

Amenities/Refreshments: We will have Finisher Medals for all finishers, goodie bags, Color T-shirts and post-race refreshments. We will also be giving away some great prizes from our sponsors!

MANDATORY EVENT CHECK-IN DATES FOR COMPETITORS (pick ONE that is convenient for you!):

Nov. 20th (Fri) - Movin' Shoes (Encinitas) 5-6:30pm

Nov.
 21st (Sat) - Movin' Shoes (Pacific Beach) 10am to 1pm

NOTE: If you live OUTSIDE of San Diego County, you may check-in race morning, Nov. 23rd from 6-8:00 a.m. If you live in the extreme north, east or south sections of San Diego County, you may check-in race morning. Our events take place "rain or shine".

YOU MAY NOT HAVE SOMEONE PICK-UP YOUR PACKET. YOU MUST PICK-UP YOUR OWN PACKET AND PRESENT YOUR I.D.

Run Course (5km)

Bike course map (out and back on the 56fwy bike path - 15km total)

Note: Race rules will apply. It is the entrant's responsibility to know the rules. Our bike course will be marshaled. Our bike marshals will be looking for 5 key violations: 1) Your helmet is fastened at ALL times on the course, 2) You may NOT draft at any time on the bike course. This means keep at least 5 bike lengths between you and the rider in front of you and you may NOT ride along side another rider, 3) Our course will have 2 "no passing" zones race day. Obey all rules and instructions regarding these lanes, 4) No erratic or unsafe riding, and 5) Observe the Mount/Dismount line and follow instructions accordingly. Violators of these rules may be given a warning, penalized by a time penalty or may be DISQUALIFIED.
